Adults and children over 14 years prescribed orally in tablet form 0,2 g 3-4 times a day. To achieve rapid effect dose can be increased to 0.4 g three times a day. In 1983 the UK "Nurofen" (ibuprofen) first received OTC status. The success of "Nurofen" was truly stunning - by the end of 1985 more than 100 million people have used this drug.
